FASTING as part of your Anti-Aging Plan

As with a reduced calorie diet, there are numerous studies that prove regular fasting to lengthen lifespan, retard rates of aging, and inhibits the occurrence of many age-associated diseases. It also acts as a natural healing therapy for your entire body.

Most studies done to date have tested the physiological effect of short-term repeated fasting lab animals. The results show that fasting animals survive longer than their non-fasting counterparts, in spite of the fasting group having a heavier body weight than the control group. This type of fasting was also proven to be effective on the prolongation of life-span in autoimmune-prone animals.

It is important to note that the fasting mice had higher body weights due to the way they ate. By skipping days in a row of eating, your body would also store more fat.

Health Bud.com would recommend the following as an all around healthy, anti-aging fasting plan (this is similar to what the famous Dr. Bragg recommends):

1. Eat a healthy reduced calorie diet 6 days a week
2. On the 7th day, fast (you can only water and small amounts of fresh juice).
3. In addition, once every other month, fast for 3 to 4 days.
